Approved Higher Technical Qualifications
Higher Technical Qualifications (HTQs) align to occupational standards.
The HTQs currently approved by IfATE are set out in the downloadable files below.
All approved HTQs must continue to meet all IfATE's approval criteria.
IfATE may review qualifications at any time and may withdraw approval following such a review. Approval may be withdrawn, if IfATE considers that any of the approvals criteria are no longer met or in any of the other circumstances set out in the Terms and Conditions.
In line with the Skills Act, HTQs cannot lead to the issuing of a technical education certificate (a T Level certificate).
