  • Developing apprenticeships – overview

    If we agree that an occupation is suitable for an apprenticeship, we will support you in developing the occupational standard and end-point assessment (EPA), as well as getting funding evidence to inform our funding band recommendation. Developing your occupational standard and EPA plan together ensures a coherent apprenticeship.
  • Developing a specimen training plan

     The Education and Skills Funding Agency (ESFA) funding rules require training providers to have a written agreement with an employer. It must set out the apprenticeship training and on-programme assessment and who will deliver it, along with other things.
  • Level 3 – Occupational progression technical qualifications – 16-19 and adult

    Where a standard forms the basis for a technical qualification in T Levels, it is unlikely any approved qualification will be eligible for 16-19 funding in accordance with DfE funding guidance. Qualifications submitted for approval must adhere to IfATE’s qualification titling requirements.
