A revised version of this apprenticeship has been agreed and is available for information only at present. It will replace the version below for new starts once the funding band has been approved and a 60-day notice period has been completed. Further details of this and other apprenticeships in revision are available in the revisions status report.
A dispensation has been granted to allow EPAOs to accept an alternative vendor qualification that has been mapped by the training provider and employer and signed off by the EPAO in advance. If no alternative qualifications are appropriate then the knowledge module would have to be completed. This allows some flexibility, and still give employers the option of using the existing qualification. It would still require apprentices to learn the digital content currently required for this occupation, but provide different means of achieving this.
The dispensation would apply until the multi-channel marketer apprenticeship is approved and published. We expect that to be in place by November 2023.
