3 steps to printing or saving the maps as a PDF

Thank you for your interest in the Occupational Maps. We have built a flexible tool that allows you to print or save as a PDF one Map at a time.

1) Open a map in the page layout tool

Access the page layout tool by clicking the printer icon or the page layout tool button.

2) Add or remove page breaks to fit the clusters on pages

To control the flow of clusters, click on the green '+' button to start a new page. To remove a page break, use the 'X' button. There is an option to add page break for Pathways automatically.

3) Preview the layout to match to a printer or Save as PDF

In the browser Print Preview window, check the destination options to select a printer or Save as PDF. Paper size can be adjusted as preferred even for digital output.

It is advised to deselect the headers & footers visibility on the Map (this option is located under "more settings" in the print preview), but to keep the background graphics selected.

The new, enhanced occupational maps service is available now.The existing maps will be retired on 28 April 2023. For any enquiries, please email OccupationalMaps.INSTITUTE@education.gov.uk.
