A short guide to regulated occupations for training providers
Not all occupations are regulated. A regulated occupation is one that contains an element that must conform to a regulatory body requirement. This could be a qualification, a training programme, an approved training provider, or an approved end point assessment organisation.
With regulated occupations, a training provider may need to apply to the relevant regulator before they are deemed eligible to deliver the apprenticeship standard.
You can search for individual apprenticeship standards. Information about regulatory bodies is generally included within the information about each standard. Should you require more information you could contact the regulator directly.
